Fundraiser for Myanmar Flood Victims
On Oct 12, 2024, a group of young volunteers hosted a fundraiser for Myanmar flood victims. All of the money raised from the car wash goes directly toward helping the flood victims in Myanmar. We appreciate everyone stopping by for the car wash and to all the volunteers who help out in this effort. We hope all the victims are safe and receiving the support they need from around the globe.

USF Students Visit
Oct 21, 2021 - Students from the University of Saint Francis visited the masjid along with their professor Dr. Carl Jylland-Halverson to learn about the Islam and the Fort Wayne's Muslim community. Students also observed the Dhuhr Prayer (noon prayer) and got to learn from Imam Hamza (Abu Leen) and Br. So Min Oo.
October Fundraiser
Oct 10, 2021 - The last outdoor food-mart and fundraiser was another enjoyable event for the year. We are seeing more and more non-Burmese attending our event and sharing friendship. Our goal is not just raising money for our community projects as well as to create an environment where people enjoy the foods, make new friends, learn from one another, more importantly to create an opportunity for breaking barriers between communities. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event!
IUFW Students Visit
Sep 29, 2021 - We had another group of students from Indiana University Fort Wayne (IUFW) who visited us today. Thank you, Maria Hines, for bringing the students to our center to learn about the Burmese community and the Islamic faith. We enjoy meeting new students, sharing about the Islam and Fort Wayne's Muslim community, and look forward to meeting more enthusiastic students to create better understanding of world religious.
